The 2024 Give Kids a Smile Gala was held on September 28, 2024. A sold-out event with 350 enthusiastic attendees, the gala marked the 10th anniversary of the Give Kids a Smile Hawaii program. 

The evening highlighted several of the HDAF’s impactful initiatives. One of these was the Maui Disaster Relief Fund, which provided urgent dental care and support for the dentists affected by the 2023 Maui Wildfire. The HDAF also introduced an exciting project: an animated dental education video designed for elementary school students, aimed at teaching children the importance of oral hygiene in a fun and engaging way.

Central Pacific Bank and Mr. Scott Kurosawa and his team were presented the Community Service Award for their countless years of volunteerism and financial support to the Give Kids a Smile Hawaii program. Their unwavering commitment has played an essential role in the program’s growth, helping to extend the reach of free dental care to even more children across the state.
